I am a woman of faith (Christian) with experience working with individuals and families of diverse ethnic cultures, beliefs, family structure/composition, as well as faith leaders.
I help parents and caregivers heal from their past, gain control of their anxiety and depression, and manage their stress in a healthy way. This transformation is guided by my therapeutic framework. My therapeutic framework consists of three phases, Reflect, Release, Relate. Each phase is explained below.
My Approach
Reflect
We focus on increasing your insight and self-awareness of your thought patterns, behaviors, and ways of interacting with others, especially with your child(ren).
Relate
We focus on improving your ability and capacity to connect with your child(ren) and others. Technically, this is addressed throughout all phases.
Release
We focus on improving your ability to consistently regulate your emotions, even during moments of high stress.
